At 9:22 a.m. on September 22, CIMC Qingdao Refrigeration Industrial Base held a flag-raising ceremony to mark CIMC Day. Approximately 400 participants, including department heads and senior leaders, administrative staff and frontline employee representatives, gathered in high spirits to celebrate the 44th anniversary of CIMC Group’s commencement of production.

To the stirring melodies of the Chinese national anthem, “March of the Volunteers,” and the “CIMC Song,” the national flag of China, the CIMC Group flag and the flag of CIMC Qingdao Refrigeration Industrial Base were raised in succession. All participants stood at attention, their eyes following the flags with deep respect for the country and pride in the company.

General Manager Nian Junlai delivered an address, expressing heartfelt gratitude to all employees for their dedication and hard work in advancing the company’s development. He encouraged everyone to continue embodying the “Lighthouse Spirit,” take initiative and responsibility, and become the best version of themselves.

That evening, the company organized a group viewing of the 2026 “CIMC Good Stories” speech competition. Representing the company, Li Qiang from the Digital and Intelligent Development Department delivered a compelling speech titled “In Search of the Lighthouse Within,” winning both the “Audience Favorite Award” and an “Excellence Award.”

The company also hosted a joint employee birthday celebration themed “Celebrating Our Birthdays with CIMC.” The event expressed the company’s care for its employees and brought everyone closer together through the warmth of shared celebrations and a common journey.
