On September 12, CIMC Cold Chain Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang University's College of Biosystems Engineering and Food Science officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, joining hands to build a research depth partnership that meets development needs, injecting new vitality and momentum into the innovative development of the cold chain industry.

Nian Junlai, Assistant to the President of CIMC Container Group and Director of the Cold Chain Research Institute, and Luo Zisheng, Vice Dean of Zhejiang University's College of Biosystems Engineering and Food Science, solemnly signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. CIMC Cold Chain Research Institute and Zhejiang University's College of Biosystems Engineering and Food Science have conducted in-depth cooperation in the field of preservation technology R&D based on cold chain equipment, and received the "First Prize for Science and Technology of Higher Education Institutions" from the Ministry of Education for their project "Development and Application of Key Technologies and Equipment for Fresh Agricultural Product Cold Chain Logistics." In the future, they will expand comprehensive and deeper cooperation across more key areas.

In terms of technological innovation, leveraging both parties' solid collaborative foundation in agricultural product logistics and preservation, they will focus on cutting-edge fields such as full cold chain for agricultural products, database platforms, and mobile processing. They will conduct research projects and joint technological breakthroughs to overcome key technical bottlenecks and elevate the industry's overall technical level. In terms of talent cultivation, relying on Zhejiang University's College of Biosystems Engineering and Food Science's strong research and teaching capabilities and CIMC Group's rich industrial practical experience, they will jointly train students to provide the industry with professional talents who possess both theoretical knowledge and practical abilities.
