In modern warehousing and logistics systems, temperature-controlled storage containers, as professional large storage units, are gradually replacing traditional cold warehouses and serving as flexibly deployable temperature control solutions. Adopting a container-style structure, these units feature easy mobility, rapid deployment and accurate temperature regulation. They are widely used across multiple sectors including fresh food, pharmaceutical products, flower retail and sports event support. Classified by power access types, temperature-controlled storage containers fall into two categories: single-phase power and three-phase power models, each tailored for distinct application scenarios and functional requirements.

Single-phase power storage containers run on 220V civil power supply with low operating current and lenient requirements for power supply conditions, making them ideal for temporary refrigeration scenarios such as flower shops, supermarkets and sports events. Equipped with environment-friendly refrigerants, they deliver low-temperature storage while ensuring eco-friendliness and quiet operation. The overall noise level is kept low, so the containers fit well in indoor and semi-indoor spaces where a quiet environment is required. Their minimum operating temperature can reach -35°C, which supports long-term storage of frozen products like ice cream and effectively extends the shelf life of goods. In terms of structural design, the refrigeration unit is installed on the top of the container, which reserves complete storage space at the bottom and improves space utilization rate.

Three-phase power temperature-controlled storage containers are developed for industries with higher demands on temperature control accuracy and storage capacity, such as fresh food, pharmaceuticals and biological products. Powered by 380V industrial electricity, they boast higher refrigeration capacity and a broader temperature control range, capable of sustaining stable temperature management for large-volume cargo. The interior is fitted with aluminum flat floors and ramp transitions, allowing direct access for forklifts and hand trolleys during loading and unloading, and reducing labor intensity. The rear door adopts an easy-open structure, equipped with internal locks and an independent emergency exit to guarantee cargo security while complying with fire evacuation regulations. Furthermore, three-phase power units support customized configuration. Customers can add functional modules such as lighting systems, alarm lights and sliding door curtains to make the containers better adapt to specific business scenarios.

Single-phase and three-phase temperature-controlled storage containers are designed to meet diverse market demands, with clear differences in applicable scenarios and functional priorities. Single-phase units excel in flexible deployment and low energy consumption, suited for temporary storage sites without industrial power supply. By contrast, three-phase units focus on continuous operation, expandable functions and operational convenience, and are dedicated to standardized, long-term industrial cold chain warehousing. Users may select the appropriate model based on on-site power supply conditions, goods storage standards and service duration, so as to align the equipment with overall warehousing operation plans. Proper selection of power type and container configuration is the key to ensuring desirable temperature control performance and operational efficiency.

CIMC Qingdao Refrigeration Industrial Base was established in 1999. It is dedicated to designing and manufacturing ISO-standard reefer containers and producing customized refrigeration and insulation specialty products. Its customers span major global logistics systems, including North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. The base's products cover application scenarios across the "sea, land, and air" supply chain systems, providing full-process equipment manufacturing solutions for cold chain equipment — from pre-cooling at production origins and manufacturing to midstream logistics transportation and last-mile warehousing.
